There are Laws of Power in which Leaders of old have used. These following laws and short descriptions are my personal favorites and ones I wished I used more to my strategy.
Get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit. Use the wisdom of others to further your own cause. It’ll save yourself time and give you God-like speed. Give orders and take the credit. People, who like to talk, get them to talk about you.
Use selective honesty and generosity to disarm. One sincere and honest move will cover 10 more dishonest ones. It’s the Trojan horse.
the unhappy and unlucky, infection. Don’t become infected by other people. You can die from someone else’s misery. Associate with happy people.
It’s always better to make your opponent come to you, abandoning their plans in the process. Make other people come to you, use bait if necessary. When you force the other person to act, you are in control.
Learn how to use enemies. Never put too much trust in friends, do not put pressure on your friends, when your enemies could do the stuff for you. Your enemies contribute to your reputation. Be weary of friends, they will betray you more quickly than an enemy will, because you’re not expecting it. Friends are more aroused to envy. They can also become spoiled and tyrannical.

Rolex Three Day Eventing
The Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event is coming up and sadly this year, I won't be going. I've been the past three years in a row for all of the three days: Dressage, Cross Country and Stadium Jumping. Above are the pictures I've taken of the days. The Kentucky Horse Park where it takes place is over 1,000 acres, so you've really got a workout played out for you. You really have to have a passion for horses to survive the days, whether its raining, cold or hot. The spectacular horses and riders show for a grand first prize of 80,000$. It's one of those events that you've got to really be interested in to participate and buy the tickets. Just the experience of seeing these champion horses is worth the expensive admission. They have booths and many horse-lover things to buy and browse. You've never seen a horse show, until you've seen Rolex Three Day Eventing.

Sunday
Sunday is the best day usually of the week, despite the eminent feeling of the coming Monday. This Sunday for me was great, for I got to see my favorite people and animals. There is a sense of rest and happiness that just comes with you when you wake up on a Sunday morning (unless you're dead tired and not looking forward to Church or whatever you're doing). I got to ride my first Shagya Arabian, my sister's beautiful horse, Sarabande. She is the gray horse displayed on the sidebar (go ahead and look over). If you're a horse-lover, you know the feeling of being on the back of something that is three times your size. The power and energy that comes from the horse can't help but rub off on you. The weather finally took a break and it couldn't have been better. Even though it was a short ride, even though I was lead by the reins and even though it was just a simple walk, I felt like I was floating. You know you've got a beautiful horse when you feel like your floating on water. To describe my ride, I'd say Sara was like a boat. She floated despite the shortness of the ride and the slow gait. Simply put, my Sunday was probably my best Sunday yet.

2011 Is My New 2012
And when I thought 2010 was bad, it's not even close to this year. Ever have so much going on in your life and outside of it? A person can only take so much on their shoulders. I'd like to say I'm a good person to come and talk to, but really, my only skill is listening. I don't do the whole, 'advice giving' thing well. And I don't receive it well either, which I'm trying to work on. Life is such a mess and it only keeps on going. I didn't really give Death a thought until now. There are currently 6,775,235,741 people in the world and counting... But there are more people dying than there are infants being born. The older I've grown and aged, the more Death has been prominent. I should have expected it, my cousin died randomly in the middle of the night, due to her heart giving out. My real grandfather, who didn't even know existed until a couple of years ago, died of alcohol and drug abuse that his body couldn't handle itself anymore. I was naive to think we'd all die, yes, but not right now. In the past few months, I've grown to appreciate life for what it is. But the question is: What is Life?

Satisfaction
People have a certain taste for entertainment. Its either action, comedy or romance (fantasy and supernatural included in action) movies or books that capture us. Some people have imaginations that can fill books and hours of film time. Others, have little imagination or none at all to fuel them in life. Imagination is key to writing a book or screenplay. Take Stephanie Meyers for example--She took Vampires and Werewolves (shape-shifters) and made them into real characters with personalities and feelings. The romance aspect of it was brilliant, with the usage of the typical teenager and hopeless romantic age of this decade. Now, how about Harry Potter? J.K. Rowling created a world in which has everything we desire. An easier way to live life, a better and more opaque taste in reality and fantasy. There is action, suspense, strong character development, intense lessons and morals and even the short, sweet romance that readers soak in after so much drama and tragedy. Then there are the classics. What makes a classic, well, classic? Take Lord of the Rings for example. What made it timeless and classical? The other-worldly-ness we all desire. Get the connection here? We are not satisfied with our world, our fallen and sin-ridden world. We all want to go to Heaven, so we imagine it to the best of our ability, substituting it with Legends and Myths. We tie science into it and logic. Logic comes from the word, Legend, therefore, it entices us more than your typical non-fiction book of biographies and auto-biographies, although some are so brilliantly written and lived, its hard not to envy their lives. It all comes down to the fact that we want and need something that we don't have. The problem with the world is us.
